A BOROUGHBRIDGE-based travel agent has acquired its ninth business after taking over a Roy Cox Travel of Wolverhampton.
The acquisition takes Boroughbridge-based Spear Travels’ anticipated 2014 turnover to approximately £15 million for the first time.
Founded in 1983, Spear Travels now employs a total of 45 people at nine branches around the UK, plus a network of 15 self-employed home workers.
Offices are based in Helmsley, Leyburn, Northallerton and Stokesley in Yorkshire as well as in Stoke, Wolverhampton and Upminster.
