A TRIO of new appointments has been made at York law firm Langleys. The recruits have been taken on to support the operation and development of the business’s York and Lincoln offices.
Tamsin Cooper, who previously worked for Drydensfairfax Solicitors across their Leeds and Bradford offices, takes up a new role as director of risk and compliance, responsible for strengthening risk and compliance with professional and legal requirements within the practice.
Also joining Langleys from Drydensfairfax is Ian Torkington, who joins as a senior finance executive and specialises in financial planning and strategy.
The final appointment is Wendy Forrester, who is working as a consultant at Langleys, focusing on learning and development within the business.
David Thompson, Langleys’ managing partner, said: “All three appointments are important additions to the business, bringing as they do a wealth of experience and knowledge in their individual specialisms.”
