York-based Superbreak struck gold twice at a travel industry event in London.
The Globe Travel Awards, hosted by leading trade magazine Travel Weekly, took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel and was presented by TV personality James Corden.
Superbreak, a short break specialist which has its head office in Eboracum Way, Heworth, took home two awards – Best Accommodation-Only Provider and Best Operator UK Holidays.
Jane Atkins, of Superbreak, said: “We are thrilled to have received these awards, voted for by our travel industry peers, so a real acknowledgement of the work we do here in York.
“We are constantly looking at ways to improve our service and offering, so it’s a real recognition of our achievements to be celebrated at events like these and we hope to continue our winning streak throughout 2014.”
Superbreak has also just been awarded a Gold Trusted Merchant certificate by review site Feefo, for businesses that have achieved an average service rating greater than 95 per cent voted for by its customers.
