MARKS & Spencer has received a triple award for the super-green features of its new store at Monks Cross, York.
As reported previously, the store features two green living walls – designed to attract wildlife and retain heat – a 60,000 litre tank to recycle rainwater and electric car charging points.
The company has received an award from the Carbon Trust for achievements in carbon, water and waste reduction.
