SCARBOROUGH-based family retailers Boyes & Co is expanding with the opening of two new stores in the Midlands.
The retail chain has acquired a lease for a new store in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, along with the freehold purchase of a former Woolworth’s site in Coalville, Leicestershire.
In addition, the chain has renewed leases for existing stores in Melton Mowbray and Lincoln, and has purchased the freehold of an existing Boyes store in Kendal.
Boyes was supported in each of the deals by York-based Langleys Solicitors, which has previously advised Boyes on store openings throughout the East Midlands as well as a lease deal for a store in Skipton.
Andrew Boyes, managing director of the retail chain, which has a shop in Goodramgate, said: “We are committed to increasing our presence across the North and Midlands and these latest store openings and lease renewals are a testament to that. The team at Langleys have supported us in each of these deals.”
