TWO Yorkshire drink producers have joined forces to develop a new brew for The London Coffee Festival.
York Coffee Emporium and Yorkshire cyder maker Moorlands Farm Cyder are working together ahead of the national exhibition, which runs from April 3 to 6.
York Coffee Emporium was invited to showcase it’s coffee by La Cimbali, an Italian espresso machine manufacturer.
Laurence Beardmore of York Coffee Emporium said: "It’s a great honor, we’re taking three of our best coffee blends and serving them at a ‘pop up’ coffee shop on the Cimbali stand, we also wanted to do something completely different from Yorkshire so hatched a plan and got in touch with Rob from Moorlands Farm Cyder.”
Rob Gibbon of Moorlands added: “We get some strange request but this one stood out and we’re really pleased with the results.
"We have created a cold pressed fusion of coffee and cyder that tastes like a fortified wine or sherry, it’s delicious."
