THE success of enterprise in Hambleton is to be showcased at the second annual Hambleton Business Conference.
Hosted by the Hambleton Strategic Business Forum, the event highlight some of the region's top performing local companies, and the routes they took to achieve success.
The conference, due to be held at Bedale Hall on May 15, will feature keynote speakers including Barry Dodd, chairman of the Local Enterprise Partnership and the GSM Group and Alex McWhirter, chief executive of Finance Yorkshire, as well as networking opportunities and numerous exhibitors.
The outcome of Hambleton District Council’s Economic Study will also be shared with those who attend on the day.
Lindsay Ross, chairman of the Hambleton Strategic Business Forum, said: "When businesses come together to share ideas and discuss challenges it can be appreciated that many issues are mutual and by opening dialogue can be equally productive – learning from example always works.
“The ‘Routes to Business Success’ event will be a chance to understand the various and different routes businesses have used to enable them to be successful and to hear inspirational stories and presentations from very successful business people in the Hambleton district.”
The event which is open to all types of businesses, town forums, estate forums and networking clubs in the area, runs from 9.30am until 2pm, with a £5 fee which includes lunch.
