A PROPERTY firm is looking to turn former offices in the centre of York into 28 apartments.
Telereal Trillium has asked City of York Council if it can press ahead with its plans to turn Castle Chambers, on Clifford Street, into flats under “general permitted development” planning rules, which can allow conversions to go ahead without a full planning application being required.
If approved, the flats would be a mixture of one and two-bedroom properties, with four on the ground floor – currently occupied by shops – and the rest on the upper floors.
