A NEW Italian wine cafe is set to open in York next week following a £50,000 investment that will create up to ten new jobs.
Veeno is opening its doors in Piccadilly this evening after being launched by Nino Caruso and Andrea Zecchino.
It is the third Veeno establishment to open in the last 12 months, with cafés already launched in Manchester and Leeds.
Mr Caruso, founder and director of Veeno, said: “We’re excited to launch the Veeno concept in York. We’re thrilled to be opening our doors in such a historic setting.
“The reaction to our cafés in Manchester and Leeds has been phenomenal and I’m sure we can replicate this buzz with our new venue.”
Mr Caruso said he and Mr Zecchino plan to open an additional seven sites in the UK over the next 18 months, aiming to go national by 2020.
