YOU have only one week left to apply to speak to the angels.
That is the call to all technology entrepreneurs and ambitious companies in York and North and East Yorkshire.
It comes from Glen Hopkinson, managing director of Connect Yorkshire, the organisation that primes technology companies for growth, which wants them to apply to showcase their hi-tech talent at its Summer Investment Forum at York Racecourse on June 20.
Ten companies will be shortlisted for the opportunity to present a short investment proposition to an audience of more than 100 of the technology sector's key players, including business angels and other potential investors.
The lucky ten will also be given one-to-one support and advice before the event, designed to help them hone their pitch and achieve the best possible chance of success.
They will be allocated exhibition space at the event, so that they can showcase their technology and network with delegates and investors throughout the day.
Mr Hopkinson said: "Last year, more than £8 million of investment was secured by companies that had taken part in our Investment Forums."
The deadline for entries is Thursday, May 3. Phone 0113 3845640 for an application form.
