DOES YORK really need to be a wireless city?
That is the theme of a free discussion at tomorrow's meeting of York Cafe Scientifique at the basement bar in York City Screen, in Coney Street.
Darrell Hooper, from Science City York, will lead the debate on the usefulness or invasiveness of broadband internet.
Cafe Scientifique is an informal evening of lively discussion revolving around the contemporary scientific issues of the day. Each meeting begins with a short talk from an eminent scientific speaker. This is followed by an hour or so of open discussion.
Visitors to the 7.30pm event can collect a free ticket from the City Screen box office.
