TECHNOLGY and tradition have come together in a new partnership.
Integral IT, the Ripon-based IT specialist, has won a new contract with the Mouseman, the world-renowned home of master carpenter Robert Thompson, whose famous signature mice decorate much fine oak furniture around the UK.
The fifth generation family business, which operates from Kilburn, North York shire, has had a complete overhaul of its IT system. Jonathan Edwards, managing director of Integral IT, said: “Following continued growth and expansion there has been a need to enhance the IT infrastructure.”
Simon Cartwright-Thompson, of Mouseman, said: “As an artisan business, IT technology has not traditionally been pivotal to us, but these changes have greatly enhanced our ability to manage administration and pipelines in particular, which in turn have built much greater efficiencies into the company.”
