York-based homebuilder Shepherd Homes has unveiled the appointments of two new directors and a land executive as part of the company's continued development plans.

Firstly, David Smith joins as sales and marketing director having previously worked at Persimmon Homes where he held a similar role for its Yorkshire region and Charles Church operation.

David has vast experience in the homebuilding industry and also worked for Barratt Homes prior to his 15-year stint at Persimmon.

Liz Dean has been appointed as human resources (HR)director with her role including responsibility for the entire Shepherd Property Division.

She joins from Barratt Developments where she was HR and training manager. Prior to that Liz worked at Abbey National PLC as an HR business partner.

Completing the trio of new recruits is Paul Russell as land executive, who has joined from Redrow Homes Yorkshire having been senior land manager. Currently living in Sheffield, Paul has a degree in construction management.
