THE growing need for industrial units and warehouse space in York is soon to be eased.
The latest £2 million phase of industrial units at The Forum on the southern tip of York Business Park in Nether Poppleton has now been completed and is ready to generate about 20 new jobs.
Ready for occupation are six buildings ranging from 3,000 sq ft to 8,000 sq ft - a total of 27,750 sq ft.
They are being marketed as "ideally suited to meet the needs of modern day industrial and warehouse occupiers".
Richard Flanagan, of letting agents Lawrence Hannah of York, said the speculative development, by White Rose Development Enterprises Limited, had already sparked great interest in a variety of different businesses. He said: "This is not only due to the shortage of availability of modern industrial units in the York area, but is also recognition of the popularity of York Business Park and its excellent communications links."
The business park, on the north west of the city, is next to the York outer ring road and within easy reach of the A59 and A19.
