LANGLEYS, the York law firm, has promoted Jonathan Moore and Nick Weston to the title of associate solicitor.
Jonathan joined Langleys' real estate team in February 2007 from Pinsent Masons. He has particular experience in acting for corporate occupiers, investors and developers in all sectors of commercial property.
His latest significant deals include advising Waterfront House Ltd on its acquisition of the Bonding Warehouse based on York's riverside and working on the property aspects of AarhusKarlshamn's acquisition of the food services business from Croda Plc.
Nick Weston joined Langleys insurance division from Beachcroft LLP in December 2006. The division was ranked as one of the leading Insurance practices in Yorkshire in the 2007 Chambers UK Guide.
He specialises in complicated employer and public liability disputes and in handling claims involving catastrophic injuries.
Describing the promotions as "thoroughly deserved", Mike Williamson, managing partner at Langleys, said: "I am delighted to see our legal team strengthened by these promotions, which are testament to the high level of talent we have on board."
