Shepherd Construction win contract for £20m munitions site revamp
SHEPHERD Construction of York has won a £20 million contract to modernise a 5.7-hectare munitions factory on behalf of defence, security and aerospace company BAE Systems.
Work on the project at Radway Green, in Crewe, has just started and will involve demolishing the existing building and replacing it with a new factory. The project should be completed by next May.
