INNOVATIVE York businesses could win funding and an overseas networking and business development trip through an initiative launched by HSBC Commercial Banking.
HSBC has £90 million of funding to allocate to businesses as part of its Business Thinking 2010 initiative to support and fund the UK’s most innovative and forward thinking companies.
The initiative is open to businesses with a turnover of more than £2 million, who can log on to hsbc.co.uk/businessthinking to put forward their vision and ambitions for the company, how its management team intends to achieve them, and how the prize would help them succeed.
Two finalists in each region will receive loans of up to £5 million plus a financial reward of up to £100,000.
One of the 18 regional winners will be crowned overall Business Thinking 2010 winner at a gala event in Hong Kong and receive a further financial reward of up to £100,000.
