A SUCCESSFUL business team will share their secrets with an audience at York St John University next month.
Harriet Vine and Rosie Wolfenden started their company, Tatty Devine, on a market stall in 1999, using their art college background to design jewellery.
The pair now own two stores in central London and supply more than 100 boutiques, art galleries and gift shops, and their quirky jewellery has appeared in Vogue magazine and the Tate Museum.
“We have certainly had to navigate all of the usual issues over the past ten years, the same as any other growing business,” said Rosie.
“Hopefully we can help some of our audience avoid the more painful learning experiences we had to work through. We want to highlight that in many instances it is a case of believing in your product or service and working very hard.”
The Create Sustain Innovate seminar aims to give local businesses tips and suggestions on how to help their companies grow, and will also feature specialist sessions on branding, sustainability and using technology.
The seminar takes place on June 8 at York St John University, and is open to all creative businesses across the region.
Tickets for the seminar cost £50 and are available by phoning 01904 876631 or online at csi2.eventbrite.com
