YORK’S young professionals will have the chance to quiz a local MP on the new coalition government this week.
Make-York, the city’s young professionals group, is holding a breakfast event with Julian Sturdy, Conservative MP for York Outer, on Friday about what the coalition government means for young professionals in the city.
The event takes place at The Grange hotel from 7.30am. Tickets cost £15 from make_contact@make-york.com Lucy Robertson, Make-York events co-ordinator, said: “Having Julian come and talk to the group is a real coup, and a must for anyone who wants to know more about the impact the new government is going to have on the lives of young professionals here in the city.”
