YORK-based recruitment agency Renovo has become an official contracted supplier to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP).
The firm will support the DWP’s Response to Redundancy initiative and has already assisted more than 8,500 job seekers in England, 40 per cent of which have returned to full time employment.
David Twiddle, managing director at Renovo, said that the DWP recognised that the Jobcentre Plus network was not geared to assisting executives, the DWP engaged recruitment agencies and selected 600 operators to provide a one-day intensive job search course aimed at professionals.
Renovo’s service developed into a three month course with online resource and a dedicated career adviser.
It includes psychometric testing, builds multiple versions of a person’s CV and searches more than 4,500 internet job sites.
Mr Twiddle said: “We currently have 3,200 people using the package and have received a 96 per cent customer satisfaction rating when using the DWP feedback questionnaire.”
