HAWTHORN Holiday Park in Bridlington has been sold for £2.7 million.
Owners Ambrose Kingon sold the park, which is located on the outskirts of the village of Bempton, near Bridlington, to Aureus Leisure Limited.
The caravan park can accommodate more than 100 owner-occupied caravan holiday homes, which are available to hire or purchase. It also has a clubhouse, bar and a residential property.
Law firm Langleys, which has office in York and Lincoln, advised Arose Kingon in the deal.
Peter Horner, partner in the real estate unit at Langleys, said: “In the last 12 months the holiday park market has experienced a slump in activity as a result of lack of confidence from purchasers and sellers and a shortage of funds from lenders. This deal however is one of a number of holiday park acquisitions to complete in the last few of months, demonstrating an increased level of activity and confidence in the marketplace.”
