IT COMPANY Trustmarque is creating 23 new jobs.
The business, based at Alpha Court in York, plans to increase its headcount to 140 by September.
The majority of the positions are in its IT resellers sales department, including external and internal posts, jobs for graduates and experienced professionals, the company said. Other roles are available in the administration, finance and IT solutions departments.
Sales and marketing director Angelo Di Ventura, said the company needs to expand to continue to hold its position in the market.
“We’ve been exceptionally pleased with our performance over the past two years and have confidence that this growth will continue for Trustmarque. IT spending, particularly in the public sector, has recently been under close scrutiny, and many of our customers are still looking at tight budgets for the foreseeable future. However, we see many organisations who understand that saving money doesn’t come from standing still.”
Scott Haddow was appointed chief executive of Trustmarque in February 2009 when he led a change of direction in the business. Read a full interview with Scott in the next Business Press monthly supplement, out August 3.
