IF DEMAND for serviced office business space is an indicator, then economic confidence is returning to York.
Forsyth Business Centres said it had a flurry of new tenants at Tower Court, its Clifton Moor operation.
Tower Court is the office block and shopping centre whose estate leaseholder, MLS Business Services, went bust towards the end of 2008 leaving business tenants scrambling for new homes.
Since it has opened under Forsyth last December, 24 out of the 30 offices have been let. Jillian Sagar, the centre manager, said: “The number of inquiries we are seeing shows there is a level of business confidence returning in the York area and a clear demand for serviced office space.”
