GET YORK MOVING! That’s the resounding message from York’s city leaders, businesses bosses and The Press today, as we launch a campaign to save the city from a traffic congestion nightmare.

Transport bosses at City of York Council have been told Government cuts could jeopardise their crucial Access York project, aimed at building three new Park&Ride sites and taking hundreds of thousands more cars off the city’s roads each year.

The city has been overlooked in the first round of funding, and must now make its case once again to avoid missing out.
