JOE Manby Ltd, the Harrogate exhibition and conference service providers whose clients include the Conservative Party, has scooped another high-profile commission.
The Association for Perioperative Practice (AfPP), the UK’s largest membership organisation for theatre nurses and other surgical healthcare staff, has awarded the company a three-year all-services contract for its annual congress and exhibition.
The business, which earned last year’s Family Business Of The Year title in The Press Business Awards, beat off stiff competition to clinch AfPP’s national Congress and Exhibition.
The events will be staged at Bournemouth International Centre in 2011, at the ICC in Birmingham in 2012 and at Glasgow’s Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in 2013 before returning to Harrogate in 2014. Joe Manby Limited’s relationship with AfPP dates back to 1979 when the organisation was known as the National Association of Theatre Nurses. They serviced the Association’s Congress from 1980 until 2001 and returned to provide the association’s trade stand at this year’s event in Harrogate.
