YORK Business Week attracted about 2,000 business people, students and members of the public to its numerous events held between November 15 and 19.
The success has fuelled plans for an even bigger York Business Week next year.
Event co-ordinator Nick Eggleton said: “We have received some excellent feedback from those people who attended the events. It is perceived as a great concept and something from which the city could benefit. “I’m delighted with the level of support we received from the public and private-sector organisations – they all acted very quickly to put on a week of really interesting and varied events at relatively short notice.
“We are already planning York Business Week 2011 so have plenty of time to make it even bigger and better.
“Our aim will be to maintain a high-quality programme that provides people of all ages and types of business needs with a breadth of information and activities from which they can benefit, while promoting York as a fantastic place for business.” Email info@yorkbusinessweek.co.uk to register your interest for York Business Week 2011.
