AN INSULATION company from York has scooped a public relations award for the second year in a row.
Solarwall, which has a head office in Clifton, was awarded the Best Public Relation Campaign accolade from the National Insulation Association.
More than 250 delegates attended the awards ceremony in Swindon, including Gregory Barker, the Minister for Climate Change, who gave an address.
The award comes a short time after Solarwall launched a website for its Energy Centre, a resource centre designed to educate and promote the economic and environmental benefits of renewable technologies to homeowners, businesses and local authorities.
The centre, which has been open to the public since May, is located at Solarwall’s head office in Clifton.
Sue Lamb, managing director and founder of Solarwall, said: “It is a great achievement for our company to win this award two years running.”
