THE administrators of Focus DIY have agreed to sell up to 31 of the debt-laden retailer’s stores to Kingfisher plc.
They could not reveal whether the deal includes the store in Selby, which employs 17 people, Harrogate, which employs 30, Beverley, employing 19 and Goole, which employs 18 people.
Ernst & Young completed the agreement with the owner of B&Q for £23 million in cash.
