ARCHITECTURAL metalwork specialist, Neaco, of Norton has appointed Alan Green as managing director.
The post had remained vacant following the retirement of Paul Annetts in December 2003, since when the firm has been run collectively by the board of directors.
Mr Green joined Neaco in 1997 as national sales manager and was promoted to the board five years later as sales director. He will now oversee the next stage of Neaco’s growth with a number of new architectural products being launched later this year.
The firm manufactures and supplies all products from its factory and head offices on the Norton Grove industrial estate.
Research and development has been at the forefront of Neaco’s thinking with a commitment to supporting product innovation through extensive technical development resources and ongoing training.
Mr Green said: “The coming months will be an exciting period for Neaco. We are introducing a whole range of items to our portfolio of adaptive bathing products, as well as a new roof access walkway system and a new heavy-duty balustrade system for industrial and other intensive environments.”
Neaco supplies architectural aluminium and stainless steel applications to architects, specifiers and contractors in all sectors, including commercial, industrial and residential developments, local authority projects, housing associations, care facilities and major utilities.
The company’s product range includes special needs bathing applications, aluminium open grille systems and modular balustrade systems, balconies and structural glass.
