SHEPHERD Homes, the York-based house builder, is offering to pay buyers’ commuting costs from its new Revival development on the site of the former York College in Tadcaster Road.
The new Commute with Ease initiative offers each new house buyer a standard, annual rail ticket from York train station to a number of popular commuter destinations including Leeds, Harrogate and Selby.
Gizzy Murray, Shepherd Homes’ sales executive at Revival, said: “The price of a standard season ticket from York to Leeds is £1,776, which makes this new scheme extremely attractive to professionals that need to commute regularly.”
Hotel sold on OSWALDS Hotel of Sowerby has been sold after going into administration.
Propery agent Colliers International sold the eight-bedroom hotel and restaurant for an undisclosed amount after a competitive bidding process, on behalf of joint administrators Tim Dolder and Trevor Binyon of RSM Tenon.
