A North Yorkshire business network has announced a record five months for the amount of referrals passed between its members.
Since the beginning of the year, more than 200 leads have generated almost £30,000 worth of business for the Mighty Oaks Business Network International (BNI) group in Harrogate – an eight per cent rise on the previous year.
The group, which formed five years ago and meets every Wednesday in the town’s Cairn Hotel on Ripon Road, is predicting that despite the fragile economy, 2011 will prove the most successful to date.
Mighty Oaks Group Director David Berry said: “Our members are very successful at not only promoting the work they do, but also that of their Mighty Oaks colleagues, so much so that 2011 is already shaping up to be a record year.”
