A NORTH Yorkshire food and drink competition has been relaunched in a new guise.
The Flavours of Hambleton Awards, formerly run by Hambleton District Council, has been relaunched as the Flavours of Herriot Country, with new sponsors The Herriot Country Tourism Group.
The new competition was officially launched at Thirsk Racecourse and is now open to businesses based in Richmondshire too.
The categories include Breakfast, Tea Room, Food Producer, Village Shop, Specialist Retailer, Foods Of The World, Dining Pub, Restaurant, Independent Butcher, Fish And Chip Shop, Readers’ Choice, Independent Brewery and Outstanding Achievement.
