GET your world passports here... The dishing out of fake world passports by staff outside Lush store in Coney Street, York, was drawing attention to the retail chain’s campaign to end restrictions on immigration.
Its message on the window was that “No-one Is Illegal. People should be free to live and work wherever they wish and enjoy the same rights as all other residents”.
Agree with that statement? Well, a YouGov poll commissioned by Lush asked exactly that question and discovered that it found favour with 54 per cent of those responding.
Lush, well known for being one of the few retailers to take up the cudgels on causes, believes it’s proof that in spite of two decades of anti-immigrant rhetoric, Britain still has a welcoming nature.
