PHOENIX Software Ltd, the £65 million turnover Pocklington-based software supplier, has launched a new online software store offering massive discounts to students and teachers.
The website offers a range of cheap software packages for both PC and Mac from top manufacturers including Microsoft, Adobe, Norton, Google and Quark, with discounts of up to 90 per cent on the recommended retail prices.
Both full and part-time students, as well as adult learners, can take advantage of the offers, and parents or guardians can also buy the software for their children.
The site can be found at phoenixs.co.uk/student-software/
Clare Metcalfe, associate director at the 120-staff Phoenix Software, said: “Our new student software store offers unbeatable prices to students and teachers. The software is delivered promptly, with vendors such as Microsoft providing direct download, so quality, industry- proven software is available quickly and easily on users’ desktops.
“All our prices include VAT and, unlike many online retailers, there are no hidden card-handling or administration fees.”
