A SELF-CONFESSED lover of all things York has set up a business and website to make sure her fellow females get the most out of life in the city.

Former pharmaceuticals industry worker, Tricia Sherriff, 38, said since setting up her business She Loves York, one year ago, 60 businesses have signed up and 1,000 women have become members.

The enterprise works by offering a discount card which can be used at shops and businesses throughout the city.

Tricia said: “We are helping to promote this fantastic city to the rest of the UK, showcasing its innovative approach to business and making people aware of it’s got plenty to offer beyond the Minster and the Bar Walls.”
