INTERNATIONAL healthcare company Kleijnen Systematic Reviews (KSR) is expanding after more than doubling in size since setting up in Escrick.
KSR, which was set up in 2005 by former University of York professor Dr Jos Kleijnen, moved to Escrick Business Park in December 2009, employing ten people.
It has now grown to employ 27 people worldwide, with 17 based at Escrick.
The company provides training and consultancy in systematic reviews, health technology assessment, guidelines, research methods, basic statistics and meta-analysis for national institutes and the pharmaceutical industry across Europe.
The business now plans to expand further, purchasing another unit at Escrick Business Park in the next 12 months to house its growing professional team.
Dr Kleijnen said: “We are continually looking for new highly skilled staff to undertake the work we do.”
