AN insurance giant is looking to solve a windy problem at its York headquarters by making changes to its entrance.
Aviva has applied to fit a new revolving door at the front of its Wellington Row office to deal with drafts from the neighbouring River Ouse.
The firm said the entrance, which would replace the office’s current sliding doors, would be weathertight and provide better comfort for its staff while also improving access for members of the public.
City of York Council will make a decision on the proposals next month.
