YORKSHIRE Bank has appointed two new members to its North Yorkshire Financial Solutions Centre (FSC).

Mark Johnson, 45, of York, and Joanne Miller, of Northallerton, join the Clifton Moor-based FSC's 52-strong team.

Mark will work with integrated financial solutions teams to provide private banking services to high net worth individuals and Joanne has specialist expertise in the agricultural sector, while also dealing withfinancial planning and pensions, life insurance, savings and investments.

• ASHWORTH Law has appointed Terry Timpson as a senior litigation executive in its newly launched probate recovery department in Harrogate.

Terry, whose career in probate recovery spans more than ten years,formerly headed up the probate debt recovery team at Leeds law firm Lee & Priestley and previously worked for Eversheds, as well as a major car financing business.

• LAW firm Langleys of York has promoted to partner Susan McKendry, who formed its healthcare and welfare unit in August 2009. Susan worked for seven years in the Government Legal Service, and specialises in deprivation of liberty and end of life healthcare cases. She is regularly instructed by the Official Solicitor in Human Rights cases in the Court of Protection and High Court.

• JANE Hartas, a former employee of The Press, has joined Ebor Law as a specialist family lawyer. Jane, who has eight years experience, joins the firm as it celebrates its second birthday.

• Abigail Mitchell has joined Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors as a senior associate solicitor. Abigail specialises in helping commercial landlords or tenants with the management of their property portfolios, and in the negotiation, creation or transfer of commercial leases on behalf of business owners or commercial landlords.
