ESTATE agency Redmove has launched a new division as it celebrates its fifth birthday.
The York-based agency has launched Red Terrace, a new division targeting people buying and selling terraced houses, which will offer incentives to buy-to-let investors, as well as sellers and buyers of terraced houses.
Michael Redmond, owner of the firm, said: “A lot of agents create bespoke services for the elite end of the market, but terraced houses are selling and are of interest to a wide range of people, including investors and first-time buyers.”
The firm has appointed Ross Potter to develop the new division and help Redmove to double the number of properties on its books in the next 12 months.
Ross has 17 years’ estate agency and business experience, having run his own property-finding business, and was general manager of York City Football Club for three years.
Michael said: “Ross’s arrival means we can accommodate twice as many valuations, and we’ve seen the market improve this year.
“People aren’t as nervous that prices are going to plummet as they have been in recent years.”
