ROUGEMONT Estates has bought a English Heritage’s Grade II-listed offices in York for a syndicate of private investors to buy into.
The investment in the building on Tanner Row, along with the acquisition of the headquarters of a financial institution in Sheffield, brings the total value of the Harrogate-based company’s property acquisitions since 2010 to £26 million.
Rougemont Estates was established by property entrepreneur Jan Fletcher and James Craven 18 months ago, in the wake of the Lehman Brothers crash and subsequent global financial crisis.
York-based Ebor Trustees Limited, a professional trustee and scheme administrator and part of Walker Crips Group, is working with Rougemont Estates to provide the syndicated investment opportunities.
