A YORK family property business is branching out into the lettings agency business after seeing increased demand from tenants.
Reynard Properties, which was set up by Chris Reynard in 1991, owns 80 properties in York, which it lets out as a landlord.
The business, which also offers storage and commercial property, is now diversifying into letting other people’s properties to fulfil demand for rented properties.
Vanessa Reynard, lettings negotiator, said: “We rent all our own properties but at the moment there’s so many people wanting to rent, we’ve decided to branch out into letting other people’s houses.
“We have 20 years experience, our own in-house maintenance team, and we charge no agency fees,” she said.
Vanessa, Chris’s daughter, is currently taking her exams to be approved by national letting agency bodies, and will lead the new venture.
