THE Press is pitting businesses against each other once more in its BizFit competition.
Personal trainer Jason Diprose, who last year led six business teams on a personal and professional challenge to see which was the fittest, will once again get teams to show their mettle.
This year, however, all teams will battle it out at a single event at the new OneClub fitness centre in York.
Lee Mainprize, who has just opened the OneClub in Stirling Road, Clifton Moor, following a £40,000 investment in equipment, said he intended to make the club a “notch up” from other gyms, for focused training with professional trainers in disciplines, including martial arts which Lee teaches.

All teams will receive one of a range of prizes from local businesses, including a sports nutrition package from Advanced Sport Nutrition and one month’s worth of personal training from Jason Diprose.
Each team will need to drop in for a health check before the event to make sure they’re fit to exercise.
