COSTCUTTER Supermarkets Group has reappointed its former IT Director Kevin Widdrington.
Mr Widdrington returns after 12 months away from the business expanding his own Costcutter store portfolio to help create a new Customer relationship management system (CRM), Costcutter’s own order capture system and price file. He will also re-write its point of sale system.
Nick Ivel, chief executive of Costcutter, said: “Kevin is one of the top IT professionals in the retail industry and brings a wealth of experience to Costcutter Supermarkets Group.
We didn’t want him to leave 12 months ago so I am delighted that he is ready to focus on further enhancing our IT offer to retailers, ensuring we stay at the forefront of technology within the convenience retail sector.”
