THE finale of York’s own version of cut-throat TV business showdown The Apprentice will be staged this weekend.
Teams have been battling it out in a range of challenging tasks as they aim to win a £1,500 prize through the annual York Apprentice contest, organised by the York Entrepreneurs Society, and tomorrow will be decision day.
The competitors will be giving nerve-racking presentations to a panel of judges who will assume the roles of Sir Alan Sugar and his fellow assessors in the Atrium at the University of York’s Ron Cooke Hub, the final part of the event which has been sponsored by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
The conclusion to the York Apprentice begins at 3.30pm, and a networking session will be held after the judges have deliberated over their decision and the winners are announced.
