A HAMPER company was called on by tourism bosses to offer a taste of Yorkshire to a delegation from the Tour de France cycle race.
Welcome To Yorkshire is spearheading a bid to host the opening stage of the Tour de France, and on a recent visit by race organisers, Northallerton firm Lewis & Cooper gave some of its Yorkshire Holiday Hampers to delegates.
They contained Yorkshire jams, chutney, honey, fruitcake, Wensleydale cheese and tea and coffee from Taylors of Harrogate.
