A NEW awards ceremony for cookery schools has been set up by a North Yorkshire PR company.
SO PR, based in Cattal, near Knaresborough, has created the British Cookery School Awards to acknowledge the role they play in driving Britain’s passion for cooking good, home-made food.
The team has signed up kitchen appliance giant Kenwood as the headline sponsor for the initiative and Yorkshire born BBC Radio 2 food and drink presenter Nigel Barden, who will be heading the judging panel.
Claire Sawkins, founder of SO PR said they developed the event working with a cookery school client.
Entries can be made at britishcookeryschoolawards.co.uk until August 31.
