A JOBS fair for positions in Australia, New Zealand and Canada will take place this weekend.
Global employers will exhibit at the Opportunities Overseas Expo, held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds today and tomorrow, which will also hold migration seminars.
Spencer Hawkes, UK general manager of the event, said that as Britain’s unemployment rate hit 8.1 per cent, job prospects down under remained strong.
“There’s never been a better time for Brits to make the move.
"In the middle of an economic recession, the prospect of heading abroad to brighter prospects and a bigger pay cheque is very appealing," he said.
