PUPILS at a York primary school got to programme robots as part of a week-long project.
The 195 youngsters at Our Lady’s RC Primary in Acomb all took part in an ICT focus week, concentrating on things that can be done with computers.
Activities included making films, measuring temperature and light and giving instructions to robots to make them head in different directions.
Kathleen Stewart, the school’s ICT coordinator, said: “We have focus weeks every year and this year the topic was ICT.
“The children had great fun programming the robots and working out traffic light sequences.”
