READING the letters about Wrights pies has brought back good memories of their excellent produce.
All my family enjoyed Wrights pork pies and sausage rolls, but in particular a great favourite was Wrights Yorkshire patties. These were a round shape, not too large, full of the tastiest meat and encased in a wonderful crusty pastry.
They were absolutely delicious and could be eaten hot or cold. How nice if the recipe for these Yorkshire patties could be passed on to another baker by Mr Wright. They would sell like hot cakes!
