NEW job opportunities are being created in York as a national specialist care provider moves to the city.
Danshell, a provider of independent health and social care services, has opened its central support office at Holgate Park, occupying part of a CPP-leased building on the site.
Around 40 people are employed at the support centre, with Danshell expecting to recruit more staff in the coming months.
Danshell bosses say York is an ideal location for its support hub due to its central location and excellent transport links.
Debra Moore, Danshell’s group director of nursing, quality and governance, said: “I’m really excited by the prospect of using these new facilities to further involve service users and families in delivering excellent care.”
